What holidays there will be for schoolchildren in France in 2022?

In addition to the regular holidays, there is the Ascension Bridge. It is sometimes referred to as the Ascension Holidays or holidays. It falls between 25 and 30 May. There are six holiday periods:

  1. Christmas holidays;
  2. Winter (carnival) holidays;
  3. Spring (Easter) holidays;
  4. Ascension Bridge;
  5. Summer holidays;
  6. Toussaint (All Saints’ Day) holidays.

National Holidays

The Republic has 11 national holidays during which almost no one works. Accordingly, schools are closed. Here is a list of French National Holidays for the year 2022:

  • 8 May: Armistice Day 1945;
